Customized Client Service

Every aspect of your relationship with Bidart & Ross is tailored to provide your organization the information it needs to successfully manage your invested assets. We begin by conducting thorough due diligence into your company or foundation’s goals. How much do you want to grow? What’s an acceptable loss? What is the appetite for risk? Are certain investments favored or strictly prohibited? With this key information we develop an Investment Policy Statement that guides near and long-term decision-making. Reports and information developed around the IPS are written so that every member of the fiduciary committee understands the portfolio’s performance, risks and opportunities. A Bidart & Ross consultant then personally presents the findings to the committee and key participants, answers questions and provides personal observations based upon a combined 65 years of investment experience and industry expertise.

Client-to-Consultant Ratio

As a fully independent firm (we are not affiliated with brokerages, banks or fund companies), Bidart and Ross focuses on client retention and growth through investment performance, not high driven sales approaches and asset gathering. We are mindful of the most effective client threshold and strive to maintain a 20-client-per-principal cap in order to ensure individual attention. This allows each principal to focus his or her entire expertise on your portfolio and its numerous demands. We are sensitive to the fact that each of our current clients must have ready access to their consultant at all times. It’s a primary reason our clients remain our clients. If you are currently involved in the vetting process, ask the candidates if they limit the number of clients per principal. Furthermore, determine if you’ll be working with a principal throughout your relationship. You’ll gain much insight into a consultancy’s priorities with the answer to these two questions.
